A couple days late as usual...
Camping - I LOVED our camping trip. It was really nice to get away from everyday stuff. I really look forward to more trips like this!
Football - We missed our game while we were hiking last weekend (not that that's a bad thing, it wouldn't have been a fun one to watch). Dave invited us over to watch the FSU v. Miami game at his place. We got home, got showered, picked up a $5 hot & ready pizza from Little Caesars, and went over to Daves to watch some football. We had a really nice time. It was nice to hang out with some friends.
World of Beer - Dave's birthday was last Sunday and we met him and a few other friends at World of Beer for a few drinks and football. The Chargers were playing the Redskins, so we were definitely the minority pulling for the Chargers! The only other people pulling for them were Ravens fans who dislike the Skins. Haha. Unfortunately, Phillip Rivers wasn't able to pull out a win, but we still enjoyed ourselves.
Dinner with the Smiths - After World of Beer, we decided to call Jen and John to see if they wanted to do dinner with us. No one felt like cooking, so we ordered in from an Italian place we found together and had dinner at their place. It was SO delicious! We watched a little TV after that and we ended up getting home late. It was worth it though!
Short work week - Jen and I had to go to a workshop in Dulles for work on Monday. It was kind of nice to do for one day, but I'm SO glad I don't have a commute like that daily! Between traveling and the workshop, it ended up being a 12 hour day. As a result, I was able to take Friday off this week. Woohoo! It was an exhausting day (especially after 3 nights with very little sleep), but it was totally worth it.
