If you haven't heard of Frosty Paws and you have a dog, you should check them out...or at least the idea of them. They're pretty pricey. Lucky me, I found a copy cat recipe on pinterest! I decided to make a half recipe for Bailey to see how she likes them.
Ingredients
2 cups plain yogurt
1/2 a banana
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon honey
Directions
Blend in a blender and pour into ice trays. Cover in plastic wrap and freeze. For easy removal, sit the tray in warm water for a few seconds. Store in a Ziplock bag. SO easy!
I'm not even going to lie, I tasted them and they're good! This recipe kind of tastes like a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Bailey loves them and they're cheap, so I'll be making more. I'll be experimenting with flavors too. I'll probably try some more savory ones with beef or chicken stock.
YUM! Carter would love these! I'll def have to try them :D
ReplyDeleteThese sound wonderful! I'm going to send a link to this blog post to my sister! I'm sure her golden retriever, Winston, would love them! :)
ReplyDeleteYou can make them with cottage cheese too!
