I wanted to wait until our season opener to post this, but since I hope to be AT the season opener and I'm just not that patient...
This is Bailey's latest trick. Touchdown!
She threw her hands up like this one day when she was really excited and wanted a toy. Josh had the idea of turning it into a trick. We played around with a few ideas and finally decided on touchdown! I'm SO glad we did.
One morning I decided to give it a shot. I started off by getting her to high five both hands at once. This took a few tries. From there, we moved farther away from her then transitioned our hands from the high five position to the touchdown position. It only took a few days to get it right consistently! The clicker really comes in handy for tricks like this. The only thing about this trick is that you have to get her excited or she won't put her hands up that far. That's why I sound so animated. She does this trick better for me since high pitched voices get her really excited.
